Pop the cork and get ready to celebrate because Champagne is looking for her forever home!

Champagne is one of those frogs whose surrender was due to health reasons, but not her own. Due to ongoing health concerns, Champagne’s former owner was no longer able to care for her. Miss Champagne herself, however, is in tip-top condition!

Champagne is just as bubbly as her name implies and loves everyone she meets. Large, small, male, female, dogs, cats, adults, children…she has no preference. Everyone is just fabulous! In fact Champagne’s most favorite way to spend her time is being with her person. Cuddling, getting lavished with attention in the form of belly rubbings and ear scritches, these are the things that make Champagne purr with delight. She also enjoys sunning herself in the yard with an occasional play session thrown in for good measure, but people time is what it’s all about for Champagne.

Any living situation, including first time Frenchie owners would suit Champagne as she is so laid-back and agreeable. She’s potty trained, loves her crate and may even do well as an office companion, as she is quiet and very social. Someone who works from home would be ideal as Champagne really enjoys being with her person, but someone who works outside the home would be fine too as long as she is not alone for too long. Champagne’s only requirement in her forever home is that she receives exorbitant amounts of attention!

Champagne hasn’t had any formal obedience training but she has caught on to a few commands. Because she’s such a social butterfly she would most likely find all the people and dogs in an obedience class to be great fun.

Here are a few words from Champagne’s foster mom: “Champagne is the sweetest little cuddle bug and adores people. She is fine with other animals but it takes her a little time to warm up before she will start playing. She is very good in her crate and loves to just go in it and lay down when you are busy and can’t give her the attention she loves so much. She will follow you around to try to get that attention before she finally gives up. She has no aggression at all and sometimes is a little scared when exposed to something she has never seen or done before. Once she realizes it isn’t the boogie man coming to get her she is fine. She doesn’t bark much, but when she does it is the cutest little squeak, so her nickname here has been “squeaky” or “monkey.” She is absolutely adorable and anyone would be so lucky to have her. She will bring a lot of smiles and happiness to you.”
