Brock is an adorable little frog with a matching personality! He just brings light and joy into any room he enters, and we’re so excited for him to start the search for his forever home. Brock was surrendered after his family tried everything to get his allergies under control. Since being in foster care in Colorado and on holistic food, he has shown no signs of allergies at all! Brock’s allergies should always be monitored for flare-ups to make sure he doesn’t go back to his miserable, itchy skin. WE think that the beautiful, dry climate that Brock has been living in since coming to FBRN has played a large role in the resolution of his allergy issues, so Brock’s ideal home would be a drier climate similar to Colorado.

Brock is a total love! He loves kids, he loves adults, and he ADORES other dogs! This is a puppy who will forego even the most tantalizing toys if only he can have some playtime with another spritely canine companion. There is nothing better in the world than an energetic friend (probably why he likes the kids so much, too!) Now because of Brock’s age, he does have a tendency to get overly enthusiastic. For that reason, we’re asking that he go to a home with children over three and no older dogs who don’t like to play (ALL THE TIME!)

Brock is a character who NEVER stops! He loves to be with his people and loves to play in the backyard. He is getting really good on leash and can walk 3 miles easily (when it is cool.) He also loves to go to the dog park! This bouncing (literally) baby boy seems to have boundless energy, so he’ll need an active family who is willing and able to keep up with him and get him the exercise and interaction he needs. Despite all his puppy energy, Brock does quite well in his crate—he can stay in there for up to 8 hours. But be warned! If he’s had to be crated all day, you’d better be ready for a LONG walk and some serious playtime when he comes out.

Aside from being cute as a button, loving everyone and everything, and being crate trained, Brock is also 100%, no-accidents-ever-for-any-reason housebroken. Now before you start to think that this froglet is entirely flawless, we have to tell you about his enemy. Nay, his nemesis! Brock has a special hatred for the vacuum. He will attack the vacuum with all his energy (and as we’ve mentioned, that’s a lot) with no qualms. We’re not kidding here, people. He will leave bite marks and other signs of abuse on the vacuum, so he must be put safely away when it’s time for a little cleaning.

Brock could definitely use some formal obedience training. All that energy has to be funneled in the right direction so Brock remains the happy, balanced pup he is. That will also help with the jumping up and his propensity to make like mad for an open door. Brock needs a fenced yard and lots of other experiences and new places to help get rid of some of that energy. No apartment living for this guy! He needs wide open spaces...room to make a few mistakes, so to speak. He’s not quite ready for an office setting, but with some training, he could eventually make a great co-worker.

Brock’s foster mom paints a picture of this silly little dude: Brock is a funny, funny Frenchie who will win your love immediately! He loves to kiss and loves to please his people. He doesn't chew and has a sweet personality. He is full of energy and is fun to be around. Kids are his favorite, he loves to chase my 3 year old son up and down the hallway when he is playing with his fire truck! He also needs a family who is willing to deal with any flareups of his allergies. Dogs are a favorite for Brock as well. He needs high-energy dogs as siblings with the energy and play drive that he will bring. He is a lover and has been spoiled in sleeping in bed with us. He is a quiet Frenchie who burrows into the blankets after a long, hard, playful day and dreams beautiful dreams of finding his forever family to call his own! Brock is going to be a hard one to let go of, as my family has loved him since the first Frenchie kiss!
