Hi, my name is Black Eyed Susan and I am a new member of the FBRN family in Southern Florida. My mom was found wandering the streets and a nice young man picked her up and surrendered her to FBRN. Mom really likes our foster home and my brothers and sisters and I like it too, even though we don't have anything to compare it to. I am just a puppy who has only just opened my eyes to see a beautiful world. I only know that I want someone to love me and show me more of this beautiful world. I think I deserve it!

I am a 7-week-old female puppy who loves to hop and skip and romp throughout the house (when I'm not in the ex-pen). I got to go play outside in the grass the other day and that was really fun!! I am not housebroken yet, but I am going on paper now. I am getting more used to the idea of going outside…but there are just so many other fun things to do outside right now!

I like having people and other dogs around and I just love to play with my brothers and sister. I even played with a few big dogs (their names were Duke and Ikabod) and they really liked me. I hope I get to play with them more often! I'm not sure what cats are yet, but I've heard they are sneaky so now I'm really curious about them. I have a bird that walks around the floor with us and I heard that cats don't like birds....what is up with that??

I must admit that I have one major issue – puppy breath!! I can't seem to get rid of it no matter how much stuff I chew on. I also must confess that one of my favorite things to do is wrestle with my siblings and play-bite on them or anything else I can latch onto! But, I am so loveable with my black eye, and I am cute and very cuddly. All I need is a home that will watch over me and take care of me forever.

Like any Frenchie, Susan would love to have the company of her people all day long! But for the normal family that needs to work, Susan would do fine with a mid day potty and exercise break. She would thrive in just about any type of home environment provided she gets plenty of love and training. In the right environment, she may even be able to quickly learn appropriate office behavior and accompany someone to work.
