What we know for sure is that LaLa is the sweetest girl who loves her people. At 33 lbs, she’s on the large side, but as far as she’s concerned, she’s a lapdog and will give all the snuggles and kisses that you deserve (you deserve A LOT). She hasn’t met her canine foster siblings yet, since her foster family is doing slow introductions with her and the other dogs, but she is interested in some playtime soon. Her former owner says she did well with her former dog friends, and she has also met some guinea pigs without issues.
LaLa needs to lose a little weight and is recovering from a UTI at the moment, but she is otherwise healthy. In terms of her behavior, she seems to have some separation anxiety and takes some time to settle down when she’s left alone. She is crate-trained, and has some housebreaking problems (likely due to the UTI).
Her foster home reports that LaLa is easygoing and a good sport. She spends her time following her humans, trying out some chew toys (she wasn’t sure what they were at first), and she took her first bath like a champ! With such glowing reviews (and once her infection clears), we hope that she’ll make the adoptable page soon. If you’d like to help her along, please click on her photo to sponsor LaLa! Thank you!
Best of luck to LaLa. We just lost our rescue frog dog Hubba after 10 wonderful years on Saturday. Melissa McCullough
