“Rosebud is very sweet and lovable! She just craves attention.”

Rosebud is searching for the perfect forever home! This gorgeous gal was surrendered by her previous owners when they realized they no longer had enough time to devote to her. If you’ve got time to spare and are on the lookout for a well-rounded canine companion, please read on.

Rosebud is very quiet and rarely barks, but she wants LOTS of attention! She is in great health. Rosebud will go right into her crate when asked. She will happily stay in her crate, but does still have potty accidents (in and out of the crate) when left alone. Her forever family will need to be very patient and continue to work with her on potty training.

While Rosebud is happy to be with other dogs, she doesn’t quite know how to give them their own space! She does well with the 3 resident dogs in her foster home, but she is not extremely playful. Rosebud is not a resource guarder, however, she will try to gobble up all the treats! Her foster mom solves this problem by feeding her separately and asking her to go into her crate for treat time.

Rosebud is quite the jumper and can hop right up onto a couch, bed, or chair. Any place to get closer to her person! Her favorite activity is sitting on her person’s lap for cuddles and pets. It may sound like Rosebud is an athletic type, but she doesn’t require extensive exercise...unless you consider petting marathons to be exercise! Rosebud is one of those rare Frenchies who doesn’t seem to have selective hearing; she comes when called whether you’re inside or out.

The ideal home for Rosebud would have a fenced yard where she could continue her daily bird-watching, and a stay-at-home person who could dote on her all day long. Other dogs in the home are ok, but not needed. Because of Rosebud’s habit of jumping up to get attention, small children wouldn’t be a good fit. Older or dog-savvy kiddos would be just fine.

Rosebud does great in the car, and would make an excellent office companion, provided her person could keep a close eye on her and take her for frequent potty breaks. Here are a few words from Rosebud’s loving foster mom: “Rosebud is very sweet and lovable! She just craves attention.”

If you think Rosebud is the constant companion that you’ve been searching for, please apply for her today. Until then, she will be lounging around her foster home and asking to go outside so she can sit in the sun and listen to the birds.

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. Get ready for a road trip to Massachusetts to pick up the lovely Rosebud!

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
